Sushi!

Last night I ate at Iron Chef Morimoto's sushi restaurant! Soooo yummy! I had a California roll with fresh crab, and a spicy shrimp tempura and asparagus roll. Both were out of this world :)

Today is the last day of the conference, I am ready to be back hone, but trying to live it up while I am still here. Blogging from the beach now....

Oh You Know, Just Another Wednesday

I'm in Boca Raton; the resort is beautiful, the weather is warm, and the beach is calling my name! Updates this week will be coming to you straight from Florida :)

Pizza of My Dreams

This morning I'm headed to lax to board a plane to Boca Raton, FL for the LSAC Annual Meeting!

Last night Ben got off work a little early and we decided at the last minute to get dinner at our favorite pizza place. Pitfire Pizza is made in a wood stove and has such a good atmosphere/vibe in the restaurant. It's a gourmet pizza joint that kids love too!

We split a small house salad, then demolished the personal pizzas. I had the burrata pie with tomato sauce, burrata cheese, carmelized onions, hazelnuts, and pesto drizzled arugula on top. Yum. Ben had a seasonal izza called the hula hoop which is an ultra fancy Hawaiian pie with burrata cheese, jalapeños, grilled pineapple and prosciutto. Heaven, we're in pizza heaven!

Friday Date Night

We had a groupon to use at an Italian restaurant in Westwood called Campagnola. Dinner was soooooo yum!

Started off with a glass of prosecco and fried calamari + zucchini.

Next up was a tricolore salad with lots of fresh shaved Parmesan and pepper.

Main course was seafood risotto for Ben and butternut squash ravioli in marsapone sage sauce for me. Plus a little chianti and we were in heaven!

We had them box up a cannoli to go, and we ate dessert at home! We couldn't even come close to eating it all so we took home lots of leftovers too :)

Thankful for Friday nights with Ben!
